The children have enjoyed a wide range of learning activities across all areas of the EYFS this November! Here is a selection....
Experimenting with and learning about magnets enabled children to estimate, problem solve and test out theories at the Plymstock nursery.
An ice balloon at the Tavistock nursery facilitated fantastic discussion and sustained shared thinking about how ice is formed and what happens to it when we add different materials to it such as paint!
The children were highly engaged carving out pumpkins at the Woolwell nursery at the begining of November. It was a wonderful sensory experience and supported the children with their fine motor skills and development in using tools!
Learning about people in our communities and how they help us was brought to life with a visit from a Dentist at the City nursery. The children thoroughly enjoyed this, especially using the giant toothbrush and learning about foods and drink that are good for our teeth.
