Autumnal provocations

Outstanding learning continues to flow with an autumnal theme this month. The children have followed their interests about the changing world around them and taken the lead in their learning. Potion making with pumpkins, squashes, lentils, herbs and spices have been particularly extraordinary as has the learning of new skills to help chop, mix and pour.

Children have taken great pleasure in using natural resources from the garden to support their creativity, number and sorting skills. We have seen experimentation with leaf painting and counting and classifying with different sized leaves and pinecones. We cannot wait for what direction the children choose to go in next!
