St David’s Day at nursery!

We have been celebrating St David’s day through a range of sensory and practicable experiences. The rich language and discussion among the children has been wonderful. The creation of the Welsh flag using a splatter painting technique and a large welsh themed tuff tray was enjoyed by all. The infamous St David’s Day leek soup was a highly engaging learning process, as the children were able to work on their handling and scissor cutting skills. Another outstanding day with smiles and laughter all round, Happy St David’s Day everyone!
