Dear Parents and Carers,
We hope you have all had a wonderful summer! As we enter into the autumn term, we are now applying the revised Early Years Foundation Stage from the 1st September 2021. There are some notable changes to the framework, and we have attached a link below to the EYFS Statutory Framework and the Development Matters should you wish to view any of the materials. Some areas of learning have been amended in terms of name and content and there will no longer be six phases of development. Instead, children’s phases of development will now be grouped into; birth to 3 years, 3- and 4-year-olds and children in reception. We will use the Development Matters materials to support the curriculum we offer.
Our Early Years Policy is below which details the learning and development your child will experience with Bambinos.
The Bambinos ethos of promoting learning through exploration and inspiration is still pivotal to the curriculum we deliver. The children flourish in our outstanding environments and are highly curious thinkers and learners. Our natural and authentic resources support this pedagogy, and we are delighted that this continues under the new EYFS framework.
All our staff have undergone initial training over the summer and this will continue to be embedded and supported during the autumn term.
Your child’s key person will be informing you of your child’s next steps regularly and will be delighted to show you your child’s learning diary at the autumn parents evening or at any other time.
